Abingdon gears up to celebrate excellence in the community with the eagerly awaited announcement of the 2024 Best of Abingdon awards. Throughout the month of March, community members and visitors alike voted for their favorites in 30 different categories and the results have been tallied!

On May 6th, 7th and 8th, Abingdon will shine a spotlight on the outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations that have made significant contributions to the vibrant fabric of the town. From exceptional customer service to innovative entrepreneurship, the Best of Abingdon awards honor those who exemplify the spirit of excellence and dedication to their customers and the community.

Amanda Pillion, Mayor of Abingdon, expresses her enthusiasm, saying, "The Best of Abingdon awards are a celebration of our community's finest. It's a testament to the hard work, creativity, and passion that drive Abingdon forward. We are thrilled to recognize and commend the remarkable individuals and businesses that enrich our town."

Town officials and Tourism staff will be visiting the winners beginning May 6 and concluding on May 8. The presentations will be showcased live on the Town of Abingdon’s official Facebook Page with a compilation video to follow.
