Dietz & Watson and Food City Families Helping Families Presentation to Second Harvest Food Bank
Maryville, TN. - Thursday, Dec 12, 2024.

On Thursday, Dec. 12 at 2:00 p.m., Philadelphia-based premium deli meat and cheese company Dietz & Watson, in conjunction with Food City, will deliver over a ton of premium deli meats and sausages to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee along with a check for $2,250. It’s all part of an annual program run by Dietz & Watson and Food City called Families Helping Families. For every pound of Dietz & Watson meats or cheeses purchased at area Food City supermarket delis during the promotion, a donation was made to the charity selected by the retailer. 

For the past seven years, and now in its eighth year, the Dietz & Watson “Families Helping Families” program has resulted in donations of well over a half million dollars in cash and product to local charities and food banks near retail partners nationwide.
