
Food City Honors Local Truck Driver & Hero

Food City is proud to honor one of their own local heroes - Food City Truck Driver, Todd Hamblin. A resident of Bristol, VA, Hamblin joined the Food City team earlier this year.
On Wednesday, November 10th, Hamblin was returning to the Food City Distribution Center after making a delivery, when a serious accident occurred in front of him. One of the vehicles involved in the accident rolled on its top and caught fire.
Without hesitation or thought for his own safety, Hamblin rushed to the aid of the driver, pulling them from the vehicle to safety. Another motorist assisted in pulling the passenger from the vehicle. The accident occurred on I-40 in Knoxville, TN.
???????Hamblin’s actions are a testimony to his high moral character and professionalism as a Food City Truck Driver.
