Preparation
- Drain and rinse the beans.
- In a large pot combine the drained beans, tomatoes with their juices, broth and chili powder.
- Mix well and simmer over medium low heat for about 15 minutes.
- Divide into bowls and top with your favorite toppings; shredded cheese, canned jalapenos, sour cream or nonfat yogurt.
